Who are these for?

Families or siblings up to 6 people. I am open to larger groups, but will have to charge slightly more for these.

 

Where will this take place?

Generally my family photo sessions take place in and around Cowleaze Wood. It's a beautiful area with a variety of landscapes and there's usually good parking.

That said, if you do have another spot in mind I am open to other ideas and would love to hear from you.

 

How long will it? 

The session will take about 1 hour. That's usually enough for little ones.

What should I expect?

Most people start my photo sessions by telling me how uncomfortable they feel having their photo taken. Well, if it's any comfort, so do I.  I really work hard to help you feel at ease during your session.........you might even enjoy it.

I'll  take a variety of photos during the session - mainly family shots at the beginning, followed by some different family combinations and then a few individual portraits.   We will follow a short route, stopping off at various points to have some photos. Some of the photos will be more staged and others candid.  I have lots of ideas, but I'm also open to your ideas too and if you have some special requests I will try to take those on board.

 

How much are they?

The cost of the session is £105 including approx. 50 - 100 digital images as a digital download.

Payment is requested following the delivery of your images. A non refundable deposit of £10 will be taken when you book your session.

What about cancellation?

If your session needs to be cancelled/rearranged due to poor weather conditions or other factors, I will contact you as soon as I can.

 

What shall we wear? Bring?

I am happy to give you a little bit of input, if you are open to that :-)

If you would like to bring special toys for your children that's fine, I have a few props too, for smaller children.

 

What if my kids play up?

Well, you're not alone. Kids seem to sense when their parents are a little bit uptight. Don't worry, I am quite relaxed and not easily fazed.......And if it's any consolation, I am pretty sure we'll get some good photos.

What happens after the session?

It usually takes me up to one week to get your images back to you.  I will send them to you as an online gallery via email, including a digital download PIN. At this point I will send you my bank details to make an online transfer.

I usually ask people if they would be happy for me to use the images from their session for my own marketing and publicity.  If this is something you feel unhappy about please state this beforehand in writing.
